PROFESSIONAL PROFILE
I began my legal career in Arizona practicing law as a staff attorney with Maricopa County Legal Aid in the areas of family law, adoptions, and social security disability.
My next position was Assistant Attorney General in the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. In the Attorney General’s office, I initially represented the state in administrative hearings and court cases involving liquor licenses, real estate and securities law. After seven years in the civil division of the Attorney General’s office I transferred to the criminal division to prosecute organized crime, white collar crime and environmental crime as a State assistant attorney general and as a special assistant United States Attorney. During my service in the Attorney General’s office I also was asked to represent the Attorney General’s office in the Arizona State legislature and the United States Congress on various legislative issues.
I was born in Brooklyn, New York, and attended high school in New Jersey.
I attended college at West Virginia University and served in the United States Army in Viet Nam. I have lived in Arizona for thirty years. I am married and have four children.
I currently serve as the Vice President of the Maricopa County Industrial Development Authority. I have also served as association counsel for the Recreation Centers of Sun City West and the Property Owners and Residents Association of Sun City West (PORA).
My areas of practice are primarily in the areas of divorce, family law, adoptions, domestic violence, DUI, criminal law, social security disability, and wills, trusts and probate law.
